Delivering PETs To Mexico
We deliver 30 PETs at a time, driving our trailer across the border into Mexico.
Final assembly and adjustments are made.  Our presence creates a lot of public interest.
The application form is checked with the sponsoring agency and the PET is issued to the recipient.
The hand-cranked PET offers new independence to wheelchair users.
Traditional wheelchairs that can't handle unpaved roads or rough terrain are replaced by the rugged, off-road PET.
Hearing their stories -- meeting the families -- making new friends.  Our volunteers are never quite the same as they were before this experience.
